Sorry for not getting pictures up lately. There were so many to add I just created a new scroll. All pictures are from home, some random cute pictures of Abigail, some pictures are from my parents visit (it was fun having them here), and then we have pictures of our first walk with Abigail! The weather was soooo nice! We have many updates to tell you. Abigail's GI doctor appointment took blood to see how she was doing with the bilirubin. Her bloodwork came back fabulous so her liver is up and running like it should. So he took her off of two medications (aldactone and ADEK) YAHOO! Her pulmonary appointment went well, they checked her oxygen sats and she was at 99% and then he had me feed her so he could see how she was sating when she ate and she went up to 100%!! Because of a few bradicardias (have no idea if I spelled that correctly) he decided not to try weening her from her oxygen yet. Our next appointment with those two doctors is April 12 (yeah, I got both scheduled on the same day back to back so we wouldn't have to trek out to Children's twice). We saw her pediatrician today he is so pleased with how she is doing. They weighed her and...drum roll please...she is 8 lbs and 12 ounces. I swear I wake up and look at her and tell Scott, "I think she grew last night, she looks different!" We also got the okay to be able to skip her 3 am feeding (if she wants) as long as she is drinking a certain volume in a 24 hour period. We have to go back to the pediatrician perhaps Friday for her synergis shot. It is to protect her from RSV a very nasty virus that premmies are prone to (in you and I it may just seem like we have the common cold, but if a premmie gets it it is pretty bad, hospitalization and we have been warned, do everything to prevent her from getting it). I saw the scroll of pictures. She is SOOO big now! Wow! I can't believe how much she is weighing already. I'm glad to hear how well she is doing. The picture of the three of you is absolutely gorgeous! You have a beautiful family:)
We had an awesome time at Scott, Cheryl and Abigail’s. Got to hold Abigail and got to hold Abigail and got to hold Abigail!. She looks just like her Mommy and Daddy, beautiful!! She smiles and the world lights up, she cries and the world lights up. Let me tell ya the child can do no wrong. Lot’s of love in their home. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaah, Grandma’s and Grandpa’s are blessed.
I absolutely love the pictures. She has got soooo big since we last saw her. I love the picture of the 4 generations of "the girls". I can't wait to see her again. We love you all.
