Abigail is doing great. We went to the doctor's yesterday. Her GI doctor said she doesn't have to come back anymore, between her great blood test results for her liver the last time and her appropriate weight gain (she is now 10 lbs 11.5 ounces), so that is great! The pulmonologist checked her oxygen sats and she was at a 100 % when we came in. He had me turn off her oxygen and checked her again in 15 minutes and she was at 99% So he ordered us a saturation monitor and we will begin weening her from oxygen. He said it may go faster than he originally thought. First, we will turn her o's off during the day when she is awake, then move to eating times, then nap times, then last night time. He said night time last only because the sat monitor can drive you crazy when you trying to sleep :) I think she will do this very quickly simply because she is always pulling our her nasal canyala anyway! As for her diuretics, he kept the dosages the same and is letting her ween herself through growth. She has already slightly outgrown the dose (they are based on her weight) and as she grows she'll just outgrow it more and more. He also said her liver was in the right place so we didn't do any chest x-rays (last time her liver was towards her belly button, which indicates retention of fluids). YEAH!! Thanks for all your continued prayers. She amazes her docs, but I am not surprised, I know how many people are praying for her!

That’s our girl. Ace those tests. We have all been so blessed through this. I still remember Cheryl calling on December 17 telling us Abigail was here and saying, “Now Cheryl, that’s not funny. For being such a preemie Abigail has not had to endure many of the complications that preemies go through. Look at her now. Can ya believe she is hitting the 11 lb mark. Thanks Prayer Warriors!!

Way to go Abigail. She is looking so good. She has gotten so big. I can't wait to see her again. I pray that everyone here will get well that we can visit. Hopefully that will be soon. I miss seeing you all. But you all are in our thoughts and prayers. Love you all.
