What an adventurous weekend! Cheryl, Abigail and I went to Toledo to see my family. On the way there we saw a car pulled over in the median and two cops with their weapons drawn and three more cops on the way. Probably in trouble for littering.

Saturday was filled with spending time with most of my family which was great. It's nice to get to see all of them. It was hot outside so we had to keep Abigail in the air-conditioning most of the day until it cooled off outside. She got cranky several times but for the most part she was a trooper through all of the added stimulation.

Sunday we decided to go to an un-named restaurant for breakfast which was normally really good. Well, they are under new management now. It took us about an hour to get seated. Nobody really wanted to take our order. We had to get our own highchair and when we flipped it upside down we saw the science experiment growing on the bottom of it. Needless to say we just sat her carrier on a regular seat. After a total of about one hour and forty-five minutes out came our food. Plate stacked on top of plate. Chris' food was cold, Sarah's food had a hair in it, Makayla's food was just nasty tasting, Dad's food tasted sour, Cheryl's crepes were supposed to have cream inside but they ran out and brought all the ingredients out separately and told her to make it herself. It reminded her of a Top Chef episode. Mom's food and mine were actually fine and tasted pretty good but as you guessed it, that meal was free.

Then it was time for us to head back home. We decided to stop in Lima for dinner and it was perfect timing to feed Abigail. We went to Tumbleweed but I noticed that one of the tires was low after I had filled it up before we left Toledo so I figured that I would have to change it after dinner. So we went in and had the best meal that we have had maybe ever dining out. My steak was the most perfectly cooked steak I have every had. Then I commenced changing the tire but the tire would not come off. Yes I took off the lugnuts! I was hitting and shaking the tire so much to get it off that I knocked the truck off of the jack. Tumbleweed's manager even came out and was helping for fifteen minutes but to no avail. I had to give in and call AAA. Thanks to Grandpa Maberry for the AAA membership! While we were waiting Abigail was getting really torqued off so I had to set up her swing in the parking lot and push her so she would sleep. Long story short, they came out and got the tire off and I changed it and we got home about midnight.

I hope this doesn't become a trend for us with Abigail, I already have enough gray hairs.

What fun, come off of there already!

Finally asleep!
