What is Abigail staring at today?

Abigail had a fever from her immunization Tuesday and yesterday. She is beginning to feel better now. She had been eating less the past two weeks and I was concerned. She was drinking 3.5-4 ounces each feeding and she had dropped to 2-3 ounces a feeding with the occasional 4. The doctor seemed puzzled as I described this and how she will flail around if we try to feed her more. When he came over and looked at her he exclaimed, "My what a little budda we are becoming". He examined her and her rolls and said it was possible that her body knows it has put on enough weight and is telling her to back off. He also mentioned that while she had been eating less, he was absolutely tickled with her weight gain. So while she should be up to 28 ounces of milk a day she is more like barely reaching 22 ounces. He said follow her lead, she apparently knows what she is doing.

I’d say you have a brilliant Doctor there. He recognizes an advanced child. She just gets cuter and cuter every day. I love it when we call and Abigail is just chatting away. The pictures are adorable.
